My cat ate whipped cream. What should I do?
A small amount is unlikely to cause serious harm in a healthy cat. Remove any remaining food, offer fresh water and watch for vomiting, diarrhea, a painful belly or lethargy over the next 24-48 hours. Call your vet if your cat ate a large amount, is small, young or has health problems (such as pancreatitis), or if the food contained onion, garlic, chocolate or xylitol.

Whipped Cream and cats: FAQ
Can cats have whipped cream?
It is best not to give cats whipped cream. Most adult cats are lactose intolerant, and whipped cream is high in fat and sugar. A tiny lick is unlikely to cause harm, but it can cause diarrhea.
Can cats have a Starbucks puppuccino?
It is whipped cream. A lick is unlikely to hurt, but it is not a good treat for cats.
Can cats eat ice cream?
Avoid it for the same reasons: lactose, fat and sugar.
What creamy treats are safe for cats?
Lickable cat treats made for cats, or a small amount of lactose-free cat milk.
Can kittens eat whipped cream?
No. Kittens are smaller and more vulnerable than adults, so it is best avoided entirely.
